About

Fonoteka is a catalogue of music for situations: sleep, kids, study, cafés, sport, pets, meditation. Albums come from an independent label; the easiest place to open them today is Spotify.

How collections are built

Collections follow tasks, not genres. For each situation we describe tempo, volume and character, then point to concrete albums. Copy is written by people who release and listen to this music, and it is updated from listener feedback.

Characters

Every album ships under a character name. That name is the simplest search key in Spotify: type it once and every album lands on one page.

Rights

Music is for personal streaming. Public playback in cafés, salons, gyms and events needs a licence from the rights holder.
